100% remote based out of San Diego. Responsible for working with children, young adults, and families to provide skill building services and implement effective treatment techniques to achieve desired outcomes.

Shift 1: Sun 8:30am-9:30pm, Mon-Tues 1:00pm-10:00pm, Wed 12:30pm-9:30pm.

Shift 2: Wed12:30pm-9:30pm, Thurs-Fri 1:00pm-10:00pm, Sat- 9:00am-10:00pm

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Agency facility and the safety and well-being of children and staff, including:

• Directly supervising and supporting cottage staff in the absence of the executives and managers (e.g. nights, weekends, holidays).
• Responding to emergency situations where children are in crisis to de-escalate the situation and ensure the safety and health of clients, families, caregivers and Five Acres staff.
• Providing advice and support to enhance the effectiveness of staff performance and program functions.

Responsible for providing case management services for clients in the Community Based program in accordance with Five Acres policies and the clients’ treatment plans.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting training programs, including training needs assessments, classroom delivery, individualized training, as needed; and course evaluation related to Agency training initiatives.

Responsible for managing and supervising clinical and non-clinical staff including:

Overseeing the delivery of clinical, case management, behavioral, advocacy, and related services to assigned clients in accordance with client treatment plans, job responsibilities, professional standards, and licensing requirements.

Responsible for working with clients and their families in the home to implement treatment techniques designed to resolve behavioral and related issues identified in the treatment plan.

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating Mental Health services; working with children, young adults and families to implement treatment techniques to resolve issues identified in the treatment plan.

Responsible for providing a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapy; case management counseling; crisis intervention; and advocacy services to families, children, and other clients in accordance with their specific therapeutic needs in an inpatient setting.

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating Mental Health services; working with children, young adults and families to implement treatment techniques to resolve issues identified in the treatment plan.

Responsible for working as part of the treatment team to:

• Assist in the implementation of individual treatment plans for children/youth focusing on vital areas such as therapeutic interaction, crisis intervention, education, and activities.
• Provide supervision, counseling, and direct care for children/youth living in the group home setting, serving as a surrogate parent, to teach values, life skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Ensuring safety and security of children/youth while also maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Effectively partnering with families so that they feel empowered as a vital member of a team.
• Collaborating with co-located DCFS staff to complete intake process and orientations for children being admitted to Transitional Shelter Care Program. (applicable to TSC program only)

Responsible for providing medication, treatment, support and rehabilitation services to all residents.
