On-Call Clinical Supervisor - Remote

Essential Duties

Depending upon specific program, assignment may perform any of all of the following:

  • Utilizes HIPAA secure remote platforms such as zoom or teams to provide clinical supervision to non-licensed and licensed clinicians and rehab specialist (providers) who provide direct and remote mental health services to 5 Acres clients.
  • Utilizes and accesses Agency Electronic Health Record (Welligent) to review the work performed by providers.
  • Schedules a one-on-one meeting with each clinician for at least one hour once a week, documents supervision notes and sends those notes to Director and provider within 72 hours of that supervision.
  • Comes prepared to conduct clinical supervision by discussing providers' current caseload, and documentation. Provides constructive feedback and direction; and ensures providers utilize feedback into their clinical practice with clients.
  • Coordinates with provider to ascertain whether psychological/psychiatric consultation and linkage services are clinically necessary, and assists provider in linking those services.
  • Reviews outcome measures with initial assessments/treatment planning goals to ensure fidelity to EBP models/client care and implementation of treatment goals.
  • Confirms quality service delivery through completion and submission of service plans, progress notes, and other outcome measures within the agency required timeframes.
  • Provides clinical individual or group supervision in designated EBP, ensuring fidelity to the model, if applicable.
  • Reviews all clinical documentation (initial assessment, client treatment plan, progress notes, etc.) to ensure it meets audit ready standards as per contractors' requirements (DMH, DCFS or PHC).

Qualifications

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have:

  • LMFT, LCSW or LPCC preferred license issued by the State of California, plus a minimum of two years post-licensure experience.
  • Must maintain licensure as a condition of employment.
  • Training in Supervision Practices as specified by the Board of Behavioral Sciences to supervise MA and MSW interns.
  • Training in an Evidence Based Practice, and serving 1 client per practice, if applicable.
  • Experience and education relative to the specific type of clients he or she will be supervising.
  • 2 + years' experience in the areas of family and child welfare, mental health and child abuse prevention and treatment.
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written.
  • Working knowledge of community resources that address the special needs of the client base.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
  • Maintain First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Computer skills sufficient to meet production demands of the job including Microsoft Office and WELLIGENT software for program notes, and maintain detailed, accurate and complete records.
  • Ability to work varied hours including evenings, nights and weekends.
  • A basic understanding of age-appropriate behavior for children/adolescents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $50.00/hr
