Clinical Case Supervisor

Essential Duties 

  1. Oversees and manages case documentation for the TBS program; provide clinical consultation; ensures clinical group supervision with therapeutic specialist for review of client activity and therapeutic interventions.
  2. Completes assessments, FBA's, Safety Plans, CTP's and discharges. Client paperwork is completed within the timelines set forth by agency and program so to ensure that contractual requirements are met.
  3. Ensures implementation of and oversees:
    1. Quality assurance and utilization review activities to evaluate documentation and program effectiveness.
    2. Monthly audit of DMH files for standardized treatment practice.
  4. Collaborates with treatment team to formulate treatment plan that includes client family and TBS Specialist.
  5. Identifies training needs and participates in the planning and implementation of training programs for the development of staff as needed and implements behavioral training sessions.
  6. Monitors case documentation (i.e. progress notes, monthlies, re-authorizations, CTP, etc.) to ensure quality TBS delivery are being met.
  7. Collaborates, coordinates and advocates with other community professionals, servicing agencies, clients and families to ensure service plan implementation and/or linkage services.
  8. Maintains knowledge of program standards and policies as developed by Five Acres, DMH and other governing bodies; develops personal and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the art practices; participating in in-service programs.
  9. Incorporates Agency philosophy and mission in all aspects of job description.
  10. Attends, chairs and participates in department staff, supervision and support meetings, in-service programs, consultations and Agency meetings as appropriate.
  11. Receives feedback with commitment to on-going refinement and professional growth.

Qualifications 

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have:

  • LCSW or LMFT registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS); must maintain licensure as a condition of employment.
  • Experience and education relative to the specific type of clients they will be supervising,
  • Several years of increasingly responsible experience in the areas of family and child welfare, mental health and child abuse prevention and treatment.
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written; bi-lingual skills in Spanish/English are preferred
  • Working knowledge of community resources that address the special needs of the client base.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment
  • Computer skills sufficient to meet production demands of the job including Microsoft Office and WELLIGENT software for program notes, and maintain detailed, accurate and complete records
  • Ability to work varied hours including evenings, nights and weekends
  • Must have a valid California Driver License, proof of automobile insurance and meet the Agency's safe driver guidelines.
  • Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among the clients, families and staff
  • Strong leadership skills sufficient to lead a group of professionals and support staff.
  • Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR Certification

Compensation Range: $70,304/yr - $100,058/yr
